This group is responsible with providing trainings in OSM related tools and applications. This includes preparation of the training materials, documentation and prepare the tutorials of those trainings. Help local chapters set up Youth Mappers chapters in Universities in their countries.
The COVID-19 pandemic was declared by WHO on 11 March 2020, with global lock-down and travel bans, so the conference had to be changed to be venueless.
The State of the MapNigeria was held at FCT Abuja, Nigeria, 11t-14 October 2023.
The fourth State of the Map Africa was supposed to happen in Nairobi- Kenya but due Covid-19 it was changed to be online. It took place on 19-21 November 2021. https://2021.stateofthemap.africa/
