A place of business that sells building materials. Some shops also rent power tools, construction equipment or trailers.
Some describe this tag as different from the shop=trade + trade=building_supplies The difference would be that shop=trade typically does not sell to general public, while shop=building_materials sells building materials to all (see discussion).
