Parameters
The following parameters are recognised:
- path: If present, this text is added to the main taginfo URL to allow a specific page or feature to be linked. It may be necessary to urlencode any non-ASCII content, although this seems to be taken care of automatically. (See examples for further details.)
- aa: If
yes
, or no value specified, a link will be shown to the main, global taginfo site. Ifno
, no link will be show. However, it's probably not a good idea to change this because other country-specific instances may stop working without prior notice.
Country choices
The following parameters specify which country-specific taginfo sites will be linked to. In each case, specifying yes
will cause the link to be shown, no
(or no value) will cause it not to be shown. (See User configuration section for additional options.) The following list is trancluded from Taginfo/Sites.
Code | Country or region | Taginfo site | HTTP | HTTPS | Description
Geofabrik has taginfo sites for far more countries, states and regions than listed here, for example https://taginfo.geofabrik.de/africa/algeria etc. See https://osm.rlin.eu/geofabrik/ for a hierarchical overview (click through to smaller regions).
List of Taginfo sites
Links to sites with properly configured HTTPS access are protocol-relative User configurationFor users who want more personal control over which taginfo sites are linked, these can be set in the user's personal wiki CSS page. The following instruction ensures that the 'GB' taginfo link is always present, in addition to any others which may normally be listed: span.taginfo.gb { display: inline !important; }
The following instruction ensures that the 'GB' taginfo link is never present, even when it would otherwise be present: span.taginfo.gb { display: none !important; }
Complete control can be taken over the list shown: the following instructions specify that all description boxes show just International and Eastern Europe links but any other country site: span.taginfo { display: none !important; }
span.taginfo.aa,
span.taginfo.cz,
span.taginfo.hu,
span.taginfo.pl { display: inline !important; }
ExamplesPlease note that these examples will be affected by any changes you have made to your personal CSS page (see User configuration section above).
