On appointive board-adjacent positions

The board recently proposed introducing an appointed position to act as a liaison between the board and the advisory board. As an elected board member, would you support creating this role?

Roland Olbricht - Q05 On appointive board-adjacent positions

Yes. The board has a lot of extra stuff on its plate that would benefit OpenStreetMap, and offloading work means that more work gets done.

Guillaume Rischard - Q05 On appointive board-adjacent positions

The position has already been created, and I voted in favour of it. Mikel's long experience on the board and good contacts in the industry are precious to the OpenStreetMap project, and I'm glad that he's offered to keep helping us facilitate relations with the advisory board. It is important to note that the position comes with no decision-making power.

Daniela (Dani) Waltersdorfer Jimenez - Q05 On appointive board-adjacent positions

I am not well versed on this matter, but from what I've been able to research, it would be beneficial if-and-when the Board and Advisory Board are too busy to meet or if they need a different and perhaps unbiased voice to transfer messages.

Włodzimierz Bartczak - Q05 On appointive board-adjacent positions

Due to the development of the project and the increase in its popularity, this seems to be a necessity. Yes, I would support such a decision

Ivo Reano - Q05 On appointive board-adjacent positions

I have no opinion on the matter
