The United States Minor Outlying Islands is an unincorporated territory in the United States at latitude 19°18′00.00″ North, longitude 166°38′00.00″ East.
The United States Minor Outlying Islands are a statistical designation given to a series of eight insular areas: Baker Island, Howland Island, Jarvis Island, Johnston Atoll, Kingman Reef, Midway Atoll, Palmyra Atoll, Wake Island, and Navassa Island. All are in the Pacific Ocean except for Navassa Island, which is in the Carribbean Sea and is subject to a dispute between the United States and Haiti.
