Description
A lamp, which may be a street lamp, a floodlight, a signal lamp or any other type of lamp.
Motivation
Lamps are easily visible landmarks and therefore very helpful to find one's way at night. Besides that, the location of lamps helps to judge how good the lighting of a lit highway is, so one can easily avoid dark spots or poorly lit highways on a nightly walk. Further, this information is of statistical significance and answers questions like: "How many (street) lamps are in a certain residential area? What is their average distance? What is the estimated light pollution caused by these lamps?"

Recommended / optional combinations (only if known):

- lamp:light=fluorescent/incandescent/LED/sodium/mercury/arc/gas/... - Which light source is used?
- lamp:shape=spherical/cylindrical/directed/... - Which shape does the lamp have?
- lamp:direction=down/up/side/north/south/east/west/... - In which direction does a (directed) lamp point? (Default value: down)
- lamp:duration=motion/demand/dusk-dawn/20:00-08:00/Mo-Fr dusk-00:00,04:00-dawn; Sa-Su dusk-dawn/... - When is this lamp lit? Does it have a motion sensor, is it switched on by demand (for example, by call)? Is it switched on / off at a fixed time or at dusk / dawn?
- lamp:count=* - How many lamps are on a common lamppost? (Default value: 1)
- lamp:power=* - What is the electrical power of this lamp?
- lamp:height=* - What is the (estimated) height of the lamppost?
- lamp:color=* - What is the color of this lamp's light? (Applies mostly to signal lamps.)
- lamp:flash=yes/no - Is this lamp flashing? (Applies mostly to signal lamps.)
