A fitness station (outdoor gym), calisthenics park or trim trail is an outdoor facility, a single or a collection of exercise equipment for a  street workout. This is typically operated by a local government and free to use for everyone 24/7. Often along a fitness route or inside a park.

How to map

The tagging scheme is similar to that approved for leisure=playground.

Create an area of the grounds and tag it leisure=fitness_station. Each individual fitness equipment and feature within the fitness station should be mapped individually as separate node with fitness_station=<equipment_type> tag. This is de facto scheme supported by iD (Rapid), Vespucci, SCEE.

If fitness station is compact or borders unknown, you can place a single node in the middle and tag it leisure=fitness_station, but the area is preferred. To list available equipment on a single object two approaches can be used:

If the fitness station is part of a fitness route, make it a member of a route=fitness_trail relation.
