Futsal is a sport played by two teams of 5 players on a rectangular (mainly indoor) pitch with a smooth and non-abrasive surface, touchlines and a D-shaped penalty area, who try to kick the ball into the opponent's goal.
The standard dimensions of a futsal pitch are between 25–42 m in length and 16–25 m in width. A futsal pitch is characterized by touchlines and goal lines, goals measuring
3 x 2 m, a D-shaped penalty area, and two penalty marks. It is played with a smaller ball, which has a reduced rebound compared to a standard association football.[1]
How to map
Since sport=futsal is a non-physical tag, it should be combined with other (physical) tags; e.g.:

(optional) Use this tag to describe the type of surface available. For outdoor pitches see surface=* for a list of possible values. Most common are probably asphalt, concrete and tartan, but dirt, earth and even grass are not unheard of. For indoor pitches you might want to use parquet or synthetic.

Related amenities
Especially for outdoor pitches it might be useful to mark the location of a nearby source of drinkable water if one is available, using the the tags amenity=fountain or amenity=drinking_water. However, this should be a separate entity rather than an additional tag on the basketball-related entity itself.
