Welkom bij OpenStreetMap, het project dat vrije geografische gegevens zoals plattegronden beschikbaar maakt voor iedereen. Het project is begonnen omdat de meeste kaarten waarvan je denkt dat ze vrij zijn eigenlijk wettelijke of technische beperkingen hebben op het gebruik. Daardoor worden mensen geremd om de gegevens te gebruiken op creatieve, productieve en verrassende manieren.
