現在のコンセンサスについては、シンプル屋内タギング（Simple Indoor Tagging）を参照してください。以下のタグは現在では古くなっているか使われていない可能性があります。

使用されるタグ

より詳細な情報については、上記の「タグ付け」をご覧ください。

• level=n - フロアの階を示します; 値の解釈は一様ではありません。 (key pageを参照)
  • <n> は普通、整数を用います。時々、ひとつふたつの文字が使われたり、組み合わされたりします（例 A,B,C,1,2,3）。
  • どんな場合でも、 <n> は増えていきます（上空にむかって）。
  • いくつかの文化圏において、基準階（base level）は”level 0”として表され、別の文化圏では地上1階は"level 1（または）A"として表されます。
  • 「中二階（mezzanine）」や「中間階（intermediate level）」（例 中間の階段踊り場）を示すために小数を使っている使用報告もあります（例 level=2.5）。

部屋数と名前は、ref=* と name=* タグに入力します。

• room=yes - もっと詳細なタイプを記述する追加値については「キー」のウィキページをみてください。
• entrance=yes - 部屋または建物の入り口
• capacity=* - 部屋内の座席数

• highway=elevator - エレベーター
• highway=steps - 階段
  • conveying=yes/forward/backward/reversible

提案タグ

• indoor=yes - 部屋、建物、シェルターの内部にある任意のosmオブジェクトを示します。
• highway=corridor - 屋内通路は、以前の屋内タグ付けスキームの一部で、2019年現在では事実上の標準となっています。屋内ルートをマッピングするためのもう1つの事実上の標準には、highway=footway+indoor=yesもあります。

ジオロケーション

• GPS端末の標高値は、多層式駐車場のどのlevelに車がいるか特定するのに使えるかもしれません。
