Nebraska is a state in the United States at latitude 41°30′00.00″ North, longitude 100°00′00.00″ West.
Public Lands
Nebraska has over 1.2 million acres of publicly-accessible lands. Besides federal public lands, the State of Nebraska operates State Game Refuges, Wildlife Management Areas, State Parks, State Historical Parks, and State Recreation Areas. GIS data can be found at the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission Map and Data Portal. There are also 23 Natural Resources Districts which operate Recreation Areas and Wildlife Management Areas in the state. According to the Land Trust Alliance, 4 Land Trusts operate in the state, with ownership amounting to about 92,000 acres.
